A lavish, touching, romantic comedy dealing with the battle between two worlds and cultures. Tala, a Palestinian who lives in London and who is soon to marry, meets Leyla, a young English woman with Indian origins. The lively Tala and the shy Muslim Leyla have completely different characters, but there is an immediate attraction between them and it is more than clear that this is not just a friendship.
I can’t think straight is a fun film which lets us dream, where conformism, the emerging of the individual, cultural and religious differences are elements which create a tale where love and liberty explode, overcoming all obstacles.
