TRATTATO SEMISERIO DI OCULISTICA WON DNAPPUNTI COREOGRAFICI 2016

Trattato Semiserio di Oculistica, by Orlando Izzo and Angelo Petracca, is the winner of DNAppunti choreographic 2016, the award for young Italian choreographers who comes from different partners: Gender Bender Festival, Cango / Centro di produzione sui linguaggi del corpo e della danza Firenze, Centro per la Scena Contemporanea / Operaestate Festival del Comune di Bassano del Grappa, L’arboreto Teatro Dimora di Mondaino, Fondazione Romaeuropa, Teatro Grande di Brescia.

DNAppunti offers to the winner a structured support in different stages of research and creation.

The jury of experts, who evaluated the proposals, was composed by Gaia Clotilde Chernetich, Peggy Olislaegers and Francesca Pennini. The paper presents several interesting choreographic ideas that have stimulated the interest of the jury particularly with an eye on future development.

The accompaniment and support for the production will allow the two choreographers to focus more on some of the ideas in the study and related to the focus of the project, in view of the two performances of the show provided to the 15th edition of Gender Bender.
